Hunter College Brookdale Campus
Extensive exterior, interior, site, and structural improvements across an active campus environment.
Client / Agency: Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY)
The project involved demolition and reconstruction of the receiving area concrete loading dock, new curbs and asphalt paving at the staff parking lot, and reconstruction of approximately 3,000 square feet of plaza decking.
Interior work included gut renovation of 27 stories of dormitory space, including 41 new gang bathrooms, 17 new kitchens, and 700 dorm rooms.
Additional scope included gymnasium and theater flooring systems, retaining walls with granite veneers, custom railings, hollow metal doors and frames, rotunda windows, interior partitions, finishes, and tennis court resurfacing.
